Valentina Bologna
teacher of mathematics and physics, PLS-Physics collaborator
Valentina Bologna has been a Mathematics and Science teacher (A028) at the Istituto Comprensivo San Giovanni in Trieste since 2001, and she also works with the Department of Physics of the University of Trieste as a PF60CFU coordinating tutor and a PLS-Physics contributor. She holds a degree in Physics from Trieste, a master’s degree in Science Communication from SISSA, and a PhD in Physics (XXXV cycle) with a thesis on the Early Physics approach to science education. She has authored numerous publications in national and international journals on physics education, particularly on the ISLE (Investigative Science Learning Environment) approach, and supervises degree theses in Mathematics and Physics. A member of SIF, GIREP, and ANISN, she also serves as a scientific reviewer for journals such as Physics Education and European Journal of Physics.
