Komal Rubab
PhD student SISSA and ICTP diploma graduate
Komal Rubab holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from COMSAT University in Islamabad, Pakistan. In 2023 she completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Condensed Matter Physics at ICTP, where she was named best student in the Condensed Matter Physics section and received the Monica Qaisar Shafi Prize. Her diploma thesis, supervised by Rosario Fazio and Emanuele Tirrito, focused on Entanglement and Magic of Quantum Spin Chain. She is currently a PhD student in Theory and Numerical Simulations in Condensed Matter Physics at SISSA, where her research focuses on Quantum Magic, or Non-stabilizerness, under the supervision of Rosario Fazio and Mario Collura.
