Jawaher Al-Tuweity

Jawaher Al-Tuweity earned her PhD in Nuclear Physics and Ionizing Radiation Metrology. She also holds an MSc in Radiation Protection, Safety, and Security of Radiation Sources from Damascus University, Syria, completed under the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) program in collaboration with the Atomic Energy Commission of Syria (AECS). Since graduating with her BSc degree, she has served as a Teaching Assistant at Sana'a University, Yemen. Her work lies at the intersection of medical physics, ionizing radiation metrology, artificial intelligence, and Monte Carlo modeling. She is a strong advocate for women's participation in STEM as the Founder and President of Women in Nuclear Yemen, promoting women and youth empowerment. She founded the Young Medical Physicists Network under the umbrella of the Yemeni Forum for Scientific Research and Sustainable Development to support and empower young medical physicists in Yemen.
