Prof. Monica Ortenzi is Associate Professor of General Surgery at the Polytechnic University of Marche and is currently a Fellow at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov, Israel). She has extensive international experience, having completed clinical and research fellowships at King’s College Hospital (London, UK), Assia Medical–Assuta Hospital (Tel Aviv, Israel), and the National Cancer Center in Goyang, South Korea. She is a member of the Research Committee of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES), President of the EAES Bootcamp Subcommittee, a collaborator with Theator, a company dedicated to the application of artificial intelligence in surgery, and a member of the Executive Board of the Collaborative Alliance for Research and Education in Surgery (CARES). She has authored numerous scientific publications and is actively involved in international research collaborations.
