Marcello Di Martino

Dr. Marcello Di Martino is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Eastern Piedmont and practices clinically at the Maggiore della Carità University Hospital in Novara, Italy. A specialist in General Surgery, he earned his PhD from the Autonomous University of Madrid and is a Fellow of the European Board of Surgery (FEBS) in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery. He has gained extensive international experience, including serving as a Senior Clinical Fellow at the Royal Free Hospital in London, and has completed training at internationally renowned institutions such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Mayo Clinic, and Amsterdam University Medical Centers. He also completed advanced research training at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Di Martino has authored more than 140 scientific publications and currently serves as Chair of the Early Career Group of the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA).
