Jurij Pahor

Jurij Pahor has been working as a seismologist at the Seismology Office of the Slovenian Environment Agency (ARSO) since 2003. He graduated in general physics from the University of Ljubljana and developed his expertise in seismology at ARSO under the mentorship of Mladen Živčić, complemented by international training, including a workshop at ICTP in Trieste. His work focuses on managing the Slovenian seismic network, particularly the Antelope system for the automatic processing of seismological data, as well as databases and alert systems. He takes part in duty rotations and is actively involved in science outreach. He regularly collaborates with neighboring institutions, fostering the exchange of data, ideas, and experience, also within international projects such as AdriaArray and CONCORDIA.
