Daniela Di Bucci is a structural geologist with a PhD in Earth Sciences and a Master’s degree in Behavioural Sciences and Administrations. She holds the National Scientific Qualification as a full professor of Structural Geology. An expert in the field of geohazards and in the relationship between the scientific community and policy-makers in the fields of disaster risk reduction and civil protection, she is the author of more than 120 peer-reviewed scientific publications and has taken part in more than 240 conferences and congresses. She has worked for over 20 years at the Italian Civil Protection Department.
