Dirige il gruppo “Neuroinfections and Emerging Viruses” (NERVE) all’interno del laboratorio Pathogenesis and Control of Chronic and Emerging Infections a Montpellier.

Sara Salinas has been studying at the University of Montpellier where she obtained a doctorate degree in 2004. After a post-doc in the London Research Institute with Prof G. Schiavo, on neurotoxin and neurotrophin signalling, she obtained a permanent position at INSERM in Montpellier. For the last 15 years she has been investigating pathogen intracellular trafficking and signaling mechanisms, as well as neuropathology. She is directing the “Neuroinfections and Emerging Viruses” (NERVE) group within the laboratory Pathogenesis and Control of Chronic and Emerging Infections in Montpellier. Currently, she is studiying the molecular and cellular mechanisms of arbovirus brain infections.
