Pietro Faccioli si è laureato in Fisica all’Università di Trento e ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in fisica presso la State University di New York a Stony Brook (USA) con una tesi in fisica nucleare teorica. È stato post-doc presso l’European Centre for Theoretical Nuclear Physics and Related Areas e visiting scientist presso il M.I.T.

Pietro Faccioli graduated in Physics from University of Trento and earned his PhD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook (USA), with a thesis on theoretical nuclear physics. He was post doc at the European Centre for Theoretical Nuclear Physics and Related Areas and visiting scientist at M.I.T. Since 2006 his research focuses in exploiting mathematical methods from theoretical physics to develop and apply advanced algorithms for biomolecular simulations. He is co-founder of Sibylla Biotech SPA, a company that exploits a new paradigm for drug discovery invented by P. Faccioli and E. Biasini and based on advanced computer simulations. He is international spokesperson of ZePrion, a space-based structural biology experiment.
