Kanta Dihal è docente e direttrice del corso di laurea magistrale in Comunicazione della scienza all’Imperial College di Londra e collaboratrice del Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence dell’Università di Cambridge. La sua ricerca si concentra sulle narrazioni scientifiche, in particolare quelle che emergono dai conflitti. È stata responsabile del progetto “Global AI Narratives” dal 2018 al 2022. È coeditrice dei libri AI Narratives (2020) e Imagining AI (2023) ed è stata consulente del World Economic Forum, della Camera dei Lord del Regno Unito e delle Nazioni Unite. Ha conseguito un dottorato di ricerca presso l’Università di Oxford sulla comunicazione della fisica quantistica.

Kanta Dihal is lecturer in Science communication at Imperial College London, where she is course director of the MSc in Science communication, and associate fellow of the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on science narratives, particularly those that emerge from conflict. She was principal investigator on the project “Global AI Narratives” from 2018–2022. She is co-editor of the books AI Narratives (2020) and Imagining AI (2023) and has advised the World Economic Forum, the UK House of Lords, and the United Nations. She holds a PhD from the University of Oxford on the communication of quantum physics.
