From X-ray tomography to the first X-ray plenoptic camera for nanoparticles bio-localization.

Elena Longo graduated in Physics at University of Calabria. In 2018 she was awarded the doctoral degree from Université Paris-Saclay (France), in the specialty optics and photonics with a thesis entitled From X-ray tomography to the first X-ray plenoptic camera for nanoparticles bio-localization. She carried out three years of post-doctoral research at the nanotomography endstation of the P05 beamline operated by Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon at PETRA III, DESY (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron) in Hamburg, Germany. Since 2021 she performs research in X-ray imaging and X-ray microtomography at the SYRMEP imaging beamline of the Italian synchrotron Elettra (Elettra-Sincrotrone Trieste S.C.p.A.).
