Francesco Santelli

Francesco Santelli is a researcher in Social Statistics at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Trieste. His research focuses on social network analysis, quantitative methods for the social sciences, and the application of data science, text analysis and artificial intelligence to the study of social phenomena and of research protocols in the biomedical field. He has taken part in national research projects (PRIN) and coordinates activities within a national initiative of the Piano per l’Orientamento e il Tutorato (POT). His research has received competitive funding, including grants from the Fondazione CARIGO and the Microgrants programme. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal “Fuori Luogo” and of the doctoral board of the PhD Programme in Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Trieste.
