Francesca Marin

Francesca Marin is Associate Professor of Moral Philosophy at the FISPPA Department of the University of Padua. Since 2018, she has been a member of the Pediatric Clinical Practice Ethics Committee (CEPC) of the Padua University Hospital. Since 2024, she has chaired the CEPC established at the A. Galvan Service Center in Pontelongo and the “Umberto I” Residential Care Center for Older Adults in Piove di Sacco, both in the province of Padua. Since March 2023, she has coordinated the Ethics, Philosophy and Theology (EFT) project of the Lanza Foundation in Padua. Her publications focus on moral philosophy, especially applied ethics. Her main works include Le tre Grazie dell’etica: vulnerabilità, cura e gratitudine (ETS, Pisa 2025), L’agenda della bioetica: problemi e prospettive (Il Poligrafo, Padua 2019), Bioetica di fine vita. La distinzione tra uccidere e lasciar morire (Orthotes Editrice, Naples-Salerno 2017), and Il bene del paziente e le sue metamorfosi nell’etica biomedica (Bruno Mondadori, Milan 2012).
