Andrea Cangini

Andrea Cangini holds a degree in Political Science and has been a professional journalist since 1995, serving as Director of Il Resto del Carlino and Il Quotidiano Nazionale between 2014 and 2018. An Italian Senator from 2018 to 2022, he was Group Leader in the Culture Committee, Vice President of the Parliamentary Committee on Illegal Gambling, and Vice President of the NATO Sub-Committee on Technology Trends and Security. Since November 2022, he serves as General Secretary of the Luigi Einaudi Foundation, where he founded the Paper, Pen & Digital Observatory to promote handwriting and paper reading. His 2022 book, "CocaWeb: A Generation to Save", stems from a Senate inquiry, led on the impact of digital technology on learning.
