Alessio Berti

Postdoctoral researcher in Physics at the Max-Planck Institute for Physics in Munich (Germany). He studied at the University of Trieste, where he obtained his PhD in Physics in 2018, before moving to the University of Turin and then, in 2021, to the Max-Planck Institute for Physics. His research is in the field of very-high-energy astrophysics and is carried out within the MAGIC and LST-1 international collaborations, which operate two arrays of Cherenkov telescopes in La Palma, Canary Islands (Spain). His main field of research is so-called transient sources, in particular gamma-ray bursts.
