Mike Myers

protein networks ICGEB-International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology

PhD from the Department of Neuroscience, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland USA, Dr. Myers has been Group Leader at ICGEB Trieste since 2007. Previously he was Assistant Professor at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and Visiting Scientist at Rockefeller University, New York, USA. His lab works to understand how protein complexes regulate cellular behavior and implements new methods for the high throughput analysis of protein interactions (networks) using mass spectrometry. In particular, on those networks that are (or likely to be) perturbed in a variety of pathological conditions, including tumorigenesis and viral infection. His teaching experience includes Scientific Reasoning and Logic.
