Dopo la laurea in Chimica presso l’Università di Roma, Marina Varvesi si è occupata dello sviluppo e della gestione di iniziative nazionali, europee e internazionali in campo scientifico, maturando oltre 20 anni di esperienza. Ha lavorato per diversi enti pubblici e privati fino all’avvio della società AISFOR Srl nel 2005, società di knowledge e capacity building nel settore del verde. È responsabile dell’Area innovazione e ricerca in AISFOR Srl, che svolge principalmente attività di ricerca e innovazione nel settore dell’energia sociale con focus sulla dimensione domestica. Ha gestito la partecipazione a numerosi progetti (europei e nazionali) ed è project manager dell’Iniziativa della Commissione Europea – EPAH (Energy Poverty Advisory Hub). Per rafforzare e ampliare le attività del progetto ASSIST, nel 2022 ha fondato RETE ASSIST per supportare gli operatori e gli attori che lavorano sul campo per affrontare la povertà energetica.

After graduating in Chemistry at the University of Rome, Marina Varvesi worked on the development and management of national, European and international initiatives in the scientific field, gaining more than 20 years experience. She has worked for various public and private entities until the start of the company AISFOR Srl in 2005, a knowledge and capacity building company in the green sector. She is the head of the Innovation and research area in AISFOR Srl, which mainly carries out research and innovation activities in the social energy sector with focus to the domestic dimension, and she has managed the participation in numerous projects (European and national). She is the project manager of the European Commission’s Initiative – EPAH (Energy Poverty Advisory Hub).
