Lorenzo De Vidovich, sociologo, è ricercatore presso il Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche e Sociali dell’Università degli Studi di Trieste, dove svolge attività di ricerca e insegnamento su eco-welfare, povertà energetica, sviluppo di comunità energetiche e governo del territorio. Ha pubblicato diversi articoli scientifici sugli aspetti sociali della transizione energetica, sulla governance del welfare nei contesti suburbani e periferici e sulle implicazioni socio-spaziali della pandemia da COVID-19 nelle aree periferiche. Nel 2021 è stato project manager per la ricerca applicata Community Energy Map, realizzata da RSE (Ricerca Sistema Energetico) e Luiss Business School.

Lorenzo De Vidovich is a sociologist, research fellow at the University of Trieste, where he teaches sociology of territory. With a PhD in urban planning, design and policies, his main fields of interest are territorial development and welfare policies, with a particular reference to energy transition, energy poverty, and socio-spatial transformations in suburbs and peripheries. He is also investigating the social and spatial implications of the COVID-19 pandemic in suburban areas. In 2021 he has been project manager for the applied research “Community Energy Map”, carried out by RSE (Ricerca Sistema Energetico) and Luiss Business School.
