Alessia D’Orazio è research manager del Centro Nazionale di Ricerca in “High Performance Computing, Big Data e Quantum Computing”. Esperta di politiche e programmi di finanziamento europei per la ricerca e innovazione e supporto allo sviluppo e al PM di progetti europei e internazionali. Dopo il dottorato di ricerca in fisica delle particelle, ha lavorato come ricercatrice per 7 anni. Successivamente ha ricoperto il ruolo di scientific and policy officer presso l’Ufficio di rappresentanza dell’Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) a Bruxelles, diventandone responsabile nel 2016. Dal 2019 al 2021 è stata responsabile nazionale del Servizio Progettazione Bandi UE e Internazionali dell’INFN.

Alessia D’Orazio is research manager at ICSC-National Research Centre for High Performance Computing, Big Data and Quantum Computing. She is an expert on European funding policies and programs for research and innovation and support for the development and PM of European and international projects. After her PhD in Particle physics, she worked as researcher for almost 7 years. Then, she held the role of scientific and policy officer at the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) Bruxelles Liason office, becoming head of the office in 2016. From 2019 to 2021 she was head of the INFN National Service for European and International Projects’ Development.
