The global climate crisis and local pressures are profoundly changing marine ecosystems. Between disappearing habitats, species suffering, and others arriving, the Gulf of Trieste is very different today than it was 30 years ago. In the Miramare MPA space, you can find out how we monitor marine life and you too can try your hand at counting and measuring fish. But there will also be an opportunity for an immersive face-to-face experience with a blue shark and a special “wheel of fortune” to find out all about marine organisms, including quizzes, riddles and spinning fins!
