Gina Chianese
professor of General and social pedagogy University of Trieste
Gina Chianese is a professor at the University of Trieste, where she coordinates IDEAR (Innovative, Didactic, Educational, Open Research and Laboratory Centre) at the Portogruaro campus. Her research interests focus on adult education, with particular attention to professional prefigurations, and on intergenerationality as an educational, social, and urban paradigm. She serves on the University’s Equal Opportunities Committee, where she promotes initiatives and research activities on gender-sensitive education and on countering stereotypes. Her most recent research analyses the regeneration of public spaces from an educational, participatory, and connective perspective, with particular attention to gender perspectives.
