Laura Gallo is the President and CEO of Coffeefrom, an innovative startup that transforms spent coffee grounds into sustainable thermoplastic materials. An economist with solid experience in the third sector and international contexts, she has developed expertise in administrative management and the development of impact-driven models. Since 2012, she has led the social cooperative Il Giardinone, transforming it into a benchmark for labor inclusion and environmental services, while promoting circular economy projects. In 2022, she founded Coffeefrom, combining creativity, technological research, and sustainability. She coordinates the supply chain, as well as academic (Politecnico di Milano) and industrial partnerships. Recognized among the “Top 100 Women in Social Enterprise 2022,” she focuses on creating bio-based materials, leading the company's strategic vision and industrial growth.
