A conversation with
Camilla Valletti, caporedattrice "L’Indice dei Libri del Mese"
Abstract
Boundaries are not just geographical lines: they can divide or connect, shape identities or fuel exclusions, define spaces of belonging and of freedom.
Sergia Adamo, scholar of comparative literature, and Camilla Valletti, editor-in-chief of L’Indice, explore how borders are narrated and interpreted in contemporary culture and society. Their dialogue weaves together historical and literary perspectives with current political and social issues, asking what “border” means in an age of globalization, migration and new technologies. The event invites us to move beyond the idea of the border as a barrier and to rediscover it instead as a dynamic space of encounter, exchange and transformation.
