Abstract
"Prevention is better than cure"—especially for diabetes, a chronic disease affecting 1 in 11 adults in Europe and the third leading cause of death. The good news? Prevention works. Prediabetes can be reversed with simple lifestyle changes, especially when supported by AI. The Horizon Europe PRAESIIDIUM project (GA 101095672) shows how combining smart technologies, explainable AI, and clinical research improves outcomes. This roundtable explores how data and computational models (combining AI and physics equations) can enhance early prediction and prevention of prediabetes across Europe
