Abstract
How do we search for Life Beyond the Solar System? Exoplanets — worlds which orbit distant stars — represent one of the most fascinating frontiers of modern astronomy. During the conference, we will explore the discovery of the first exoplanet, 51 Pegasi b, and the innovative techniques used to detect exoplanets, study their atmospheres, and search for signs of life.
