Abstract
The aging population raises socioeconomic, biomedical and technological challenges that require interdisciplinary solutions to promote autonomy and well-being in old age. One of the major problems is cognitive decline, which can impair memory and attention. Fortunately, cognitive reserve, supported by education, cognitive exercise, sleep quality and active living, can mitigate its effects, promoting brain resilience. In this panel we will explore, changes in cognitive abilities across the life span, stimulating dialogue between science, technology and practice.
