ICTP, TWAS, IAP and OWSD, four Trieste-based organizations backed by the United Nations, will take you on a journey through science and across the globe. With a series of photos, discussions and hands-on activities, you will meet scientists who have overcome economic, geographic, and gender barriers to contribute to one of humankind’s greatest endeavors: science. They work in Africa, South America, Asia, and Eastern Europe, and they all belong to a global community rooted in Trieste, united by a shared mission to make the world more sustainable by tackling today’s most urgent challenges.
