Simone Montangero è professore ordinario all’Università di Padova, dove dirige il Quantum Computing and Simulation Center. È professore onorario all’Università di Ulm, in Germania, e co-dirige lo Spoke di Informatica Quantistica del Centro Nazionale Italiano per il Calcolo ad Alte Prestazioni, Big-Data e Computer Quantistici. È stato Heisenberg Fellow della German Science Foundation, Humboldt Fellow e IQOQI visiting fellow dell’Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information dell’Accademia Austriaca delle Scienze. È membro del Quantum Coordination Board della Quantum Flagship e del Consiglio di Ricerca dell’Istituto Nazionale di Metrologia (INRIM).

Simone Montangero is full professor at the University of Padua, where he directs the Quantum Computing and Simulation Center. He is honorary professor at Ulm University, Germany, and co-leads the Quantum Computing Spoke of the Italian National Center for High Performance Computing, Big-Data and Quantum Computer. He has been a Heisenberg Fellow of the German Science Foundation, a Humboldt Fellow, and a IQOQI visiting fellow of the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information of the Austrian Academy of Science. He is a member of the Quantum Coordination Board of the Quantum Flagship and of the Research Council of the Italian National Metrology Institute (INRIM).
