Matteo, ingegnere meccanico laureato all’Università di Padova con un MBA dall’Università del Maryland, ha lavorato in multinazionali industriali e dei servizi in Europa e negli Stati Uniti. Ha gestito impianti produttivi e grandi progetti in Italia, Spagna, Stati Uniti e Belgio.

In Italia, ha collaborato con fondi di Venture Capital, fondando il primo acceleratore di startup deep-tech italiano raccogliendo 40 milioni di euro. Nel 2013 ha co-fondato una startup tecnologica specializzata nella localizzazione indoor. Dal 2019 è Direttore Generale di SMACT, il Centro di Competenza Nazionale per la trasformazione digitale delle PMI incardinato nel Triveneto e supportato da università e aziende private.

Matteo, a mechanical engineer graduated from the University of Padua with an MBA from the University of Maryland, has worked in industrial and service multinationals across Europe and the United States. He has managed production plants and major projects in Italy, Spain, the United States, and Belgium.
Back in Italy, he collaborated with Venture Capital funds, founding the first Italian deep-tech startup accelerator and raising 40 million euros. In 2013, he co-founded a technology startup specializing in indoor localization. Since 2019, he has been the General Director of SMACT, the National Competence Center for the digital transformation of SMEs, based in the Triveneto area and supported by universities and private companies.
