Abstract
Based on his book Narrare l’Italia (Recounting Italy), Luigi Zoja offers a critical reflection on the link between collective narrative and national identity. In a dialogue between science, literature and psychoanalysis, the event will offer an opportunity to discuss the role of intellectuals in contemporary society, between historical memory, social transformations and civil responsibility. What cultural instruments do we have today to interpret the present and imagine the future? And how can scientific and humanistic knowledge contribute to redefine the public discourse in an era marked by global crises and social fragmentation?
