Laureato in Ingegneria meccanica presso l’Università di Trieste, inizia la carriera professionale in Germania nell’ambito della Ricerca e Sviluppo di processi speciali di saldatura. Rientrato in Italia nel 2016 entra in Mangiarotti SpA, già parte del gruppo Westinghouse Electric, occupandosi fin da subito della commessa ITER – fabbricazione di 5 settori del Vacuum Vessel. A partire dal 2019 è manager del dipartimento di Ingegneria con responsabilità sui componenti per il mercato della fusione, sui componenti a pressione per centrali nucleari convenzionali e sui componenti speciali.

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Trieste, he began his professional career in Germany, in the Research and Development of special welding processes. Back in Italy in 2016 he joined the company Mangiarotti SpA, part of Westinghouse Electric group, starting to work on the ITER project – fabrication of 5 sectors for the Vacuum Vessel. Since 2019 Stefano is Manager of the Engineering Department, in charge of fusion components, pressure vessels for nuclear power plants and special components.
