è dottore di ricerca in Filosofia Teoretica (Trieste) e in Estetica (Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne), e per oltre 20 anni è stato professore a contratto in Estetica all’Università di Trieste. Ha svolto attività di ricerca a Bruxelles (ULB) e Parigi (EHESS). È redattore della rivista “aut aut” e membro dell’“Équipe Sartre” presso l’ITEM/École Normale di Parigi. Oltre a numerosi saggi, traduzioni e numeri monografici di “aut aut”, ha pubblicato i volumi Il circolo interrotto. Figure del dono in Mauss, Sartre e Lacan (2002), Merleau-Ponty. Una sintesi (2008), Passioni del visibile. Saggi sull’estetica francese contemporanea (2018), Le royaume des ombres. Esthétique de la spectralité (2024). Ha inoltre curato una sezione monografica di “Les Temps Modernes” dedicata alla psichiatria di Franco Basaglia (2012).
Raoul Kirchmayr
Raoul Kirchmayr holds a PhD in Theoretical Philosophy (Trieste) and in Aesthetics (Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne), and for over 20 years he has been an adjunct professor in Aesthetics at the University of Trieste. He has carried out research activities in Brussels (ULB) and Paris (EHESS). He is editor of the journal "aut aut" and a member of the "Équipe Sartre" at the ITEM/École Normale in Paris. In addition to numerous essays, translations and monographic issues of "aut aut", he has published the volumes Il circolo interrotto. Figures del dono in Mauss, Sartre e Lacan (2002), Merleau-Ponty. Una sintesi (2008), Passioni del visibile. Saggi sull’estetica francese contemporanea (2018); Le royaume des ombres. Esthétique de la spectralité (2024).
