Ricercatore a tempo determinato in Statistica Sociale presso il Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche e Sociali dell’Università di Trieste. Ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in Scienze Sociali e Statistica presso l’Università di Napoli “Federico II” nel 2019, nella sua città natale, occupandosi di dati INVALSI. È nel comitato editoriale della rivista Fuori Luogo e biostatistico per uno studio multicentrico sull’impatto del COVID-19 nel trattamento del cancro gastrointestinale. Le sue ricerche, con vocazione fortemente interdisciplinare, riguardano l’istruzione superiore, le reti migratorie degli studenti, le collaborazioni scientifiche e l’analisi dei trend e delle opinioni sulle piattaforme social. È responsabile scientifico del progetto sulle disparità territoriali e di genere nelle collaborazioni accademiche e partecipa al PRIN Methods for the Analysis of Scientific Collaboration Networks.
Francesco Santelli
Francesco Santelli is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor (RTDb) in Social Statistics at the Department of Political and Social Sciences (DISPES) of the University of Trieste. He obtained his Ph.D. in Social Sciences and Statistics at the University of Naples Federico II in 2019, in his hometown, focusing on INVALSI data. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal Fuori Luogo and serves as a biostatistician for a multicenter study on the impact of COVID-19 on the treatment of gastrointestinal cancer. His research, with a strong interdisciplinary approach, covers higher education, student migration networks, scientific collaborations, and the analysis of trends and opinions on social media platforms. He is the Principal Investigator of a project on territorial and gender disparities in academic collaborations and is involved in the PRIN project Methods for the Analysis of Scientific Collaboration Networks.
