Professore associato di Fisica sperimentale presso il Dipartimento di Fisica dell’Università di Trieste e coordinatore del Dottorato di Ricerca in Fisica nello stesso ateneo. È delegato del direttore del Dipartimento di Fisica per la Terza Missione – Impegno Pubblico e Sociale. Si occupa di Astrofisica delle Alte Energie nelle collaborazioni AGILE, Fermi, MAGIC, CTAO e SWGO. È titolare del corso di Fisica generale II per alcune lauree triennali in Ingegneria nonché del corso di Astrofisica Nucleare e Subnucleare per la laurea magistrale in Fisica. Si occupa anche di Didattica della Fisica, essendo titolare del corso di Physics Education Laboratory per la laurea magistrale in Matematica. È incaricato di ricerca presso la sezione di Trieste dell’Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare.

Associate Professor in Experimental Physics at the Department of Physics, University of Trieste. He is still for a few months coordinator of the PhD program in Physics at the University of Trieste. He is delegate of the Director of the Department of Physics for Third Mission - Public and Social Engagement. He is involved in High Energy Astrophysics in the AGILE, Fermi, MAGIC, CTAO and SWGO collaborations. He holds the General Physics II course for some Bachelor's degrees in Engineering as well as the Nuclear and Subnuclear Astrophysics course for the Master's degree in Physics. He is also involved in Physics Teaching, being the holder of the Physics Education Laboratory course for the master's degree in Mathematics. He is a research associate at the Trieste section of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics.
