Ha esperienza ad ampio spettro nelle scienze marine come giornalista e ricercatrice. Ha studiato le piattaforme carbonatiche temperate e la biodiversità bentonica in Mediterraneo e in Australia. Lavora al Centro Nazionale Dati Oceanografici gestito da OGS, dove è responsabile del sistema di gestione per la qualità, della comunicazione scientifica, e dell’ufficio per la gestione del progetto EMODnet Chemistry. Ha contribuito alla definizione e attuazione del programma di monitoraggio nazionale previsto dalla Direttiva Quadro sulla strategia per l’ambiente marino lavorando presso il Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Sicurezza Energetica.

She has extensive experience in marine sciences as a journalist and researcher. She studied temperate carbonate platforms and benthic biodiversity in the Mediterranean and on the Australian west coast. For the National Oceanographic Data Centre managed by the OGS, she is responsible for the quality management system, scientific communication and the EMODnet Chemistry project management office. She was also involved in the definition and implementation of the national monitoring programme under the Marine Strategy Framework Directive at the Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security.
