Fisica e ricercatrice esperta in spettroscopia di fotoemissione risolta nel tempo e nello studio delle proprietà elettroniche fuori dall’equilibrio nei materiali avanzati. La sua attività si concentra sull’uso di sorgenti di luce ultraveloci, come sincrotroni, laser a elettroni liberi e sistemi HHG. Dopo il dottorato alla Charles University di Praga, ha lavorato presso Sincrotrone Trieste ed è attualmente ricercatrice presso l’Università di Nova Gorica.
Barbara Ressel

Physicist and researcher specializing in time-resolved photoemission spectroscopy and the study of out-of-equilibrium electronic properties in advanced materials. Her work focuses on the use of ultrafast light sources, such as synchrotrons, free-electron lasers, and high-harmonic generation (HHG) systems. After earning her Ph.D. from Charles University in Prague, she worked at Sincrotrone Trieste and is currently a researcher at the University of Nova Gorica.
