PhD in Biotechnology and Bioengineering, MSc in Biomedical Engineering e informatico, Smart City Market Line Manager presso ETT SpA e CEO di SINDBAD Scarl. È professore a contratto all’Università di Genova – DISTAV. È membro del comitato scientifico del Distretto Ligure delle Tecnologie Marine (DLTM) e del consiglio direttivo del consorzio TRAIN. Esperto in gestione di dati FAIR, sistemi informativi, WebGIS, sistemi di supporto alle decisioni e standard di interoperabilità dei dati (OpenDAP, THREDDS, ERDDAP, ecc.), fa parte del gruppo DATAMEQ di EuroGOOS e dei Task Team per la gestione dei dati di oceanografia operativa. È membro dello Steering Committee e del Technical Working Group di EMODnet, co-chair del SOOS DMSC e parte del DOOS DMTT e dell’OceanPrediction DCC. Coordina attività di gestione dati in EMODnet (Physics, Ingestion, Chemistry) e in progetti europei. È coautore di pubblicazioni scientifiche e revisore per riviste e iniziative di settore.

PhD in Biotechnology and Bioengineering, MSc in Biomedical Engineering. he is computer scientist, Smart City Market Line Manager at ETT SpA and CEO of SINDBAD. He is also Adjunct Professor at the University of Genoa – DISTAV. He serves on the Scientific Board of the Ligurian Cluster of Marine Technology (DLTM) and on the Board of the TRAIN Consortium. An expert in FAIR data management, information systems, WebGIS, decision support systems, and data interoperability standards, he is a member of the EuroGOOS DATAMEQ group and contributes to its Task Teams on operational oceanography data management. He is part of the EMODnet Steering Committee and Technical Working Group, co-chair of the SOOS DMSC, and serves in the DOOS DMTT and the OceanPrediction DCC. He leads data management activities within EMODnet and across several European projects. He is co-author of scientific publications and reviewer for journals and scientific initiatives
