Fisico degli acceleratori, ricopre il ruolo di Executive Officer del Progetto Elettra 2.0 presso Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste. Coordina le attività di Elettra per la realizzazione dei contributi in-kind alla European Spallation Source, in fase di costruzione a Lund, in Svezia. Ha contribuito alla costruzione di Elettra e FERMI e a numerosi progetti internazionali di acceleratori di particelle. Ha fatto parte di molte commissioni del DOE (Dipartimento dell’Energia degli Stati Uniti) in qualità di revisore e attualmente è membro dell’Accelerator and Target Advisory Committee della Spallation Neutron Source di Oak Ridge, USA. È membro del Consiglio Direttivo eletto del Gruppo Acceleratori della Società Europea di Fisica (European Physical Society – Accelerator Group)

Accelerator physicist, he covers the role of Executive Officer of the Elettra 2.0 Project at Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste.
He coordinates the activities of Elettra for the realization of the In-Kind contributions to the European Spallation Source, under construction in Lund, Sweden.
He contributed to the construction of Elettra and FERMI and to several international particle accelerator projects. He has served as reviewer in many DOE Committees and presently he is part the Accelerator and Target Advisory Committee of the Spallation Neutron Source at Oak Ridge, USA.
He is member of the Elected Board of the European Physical Society - Accelerator Group
