La TWAS festeggia i suoi primi 40 anni presentando i suoi numerosi successi. Lo staff presenterà i traguardi raggiunti, illustrando come l’Accademia contribuisce al raggiungimento degli obbiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile e promuove la scienza soprattutto nei Least Developed Countries. Anche OWSD (Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World) e IAP (InterAcademy Partnership) presenteranno le loro attività. Sarà inoltre disponibile un gioco da tavolo sugli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile che verrà regalato a chiunque lo richiederà e al quale sarà possibile giocare con lo staff.

TWAS celebrates its 40th anniversary by hailing the enormous success of its many activities. The staff will present the milestones TWAS has achieved, showcasing how the Academy’s work contributes to the achievement of the SDGs, and how TWAS builds scientific strength, particularly in the Least Developed Countries. OWSD (Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World) and IAP (InterAcademy Partnership) will also participate, highlighting their respective activities. As part of the event, there will be a booth with tabletop games on the SDGs, which attendees can play on-site with the TWAS staff. Additionally, the game will be given as a gift to anyone who requests it.
