Il pubblico potrà visitare in realtà virtuale i Laboratori Nazionali di Legnaro dell’Istituto di Fisica Nucleare, dove vengono studiate le particelle fondamentali che compongono l’Universo, e vedere e misurare in diretta i raggi cosmici provenienti dallo spazio con il piccolo rivelatore di particelle Cosmic Ray Cube. I ricercatori dell’Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica racconteranno come, grazie ai calcoli della rete PRISMA, il 4 gennaio del 2020 sono stati ritrovati due frammenti di meteorite a Cavezzo (MO). Saranno esposti i frammenti del meteorite assieme alle opere prodotte dagli studenti e studentesse che hanno partecipato al campionato di creatività “Art and Science across Italy”.

The public will be able to visit in virtual reality the Legnaro National Laboratories of the Institute for Nuclear Physics, where the fundamental particles that make up the Universe are studied, and see and measure in real time the cosmic rays coming from space with the small particle detector Cosmic Ray Cube. The researchers of the National Institute of Astrophysics will tell how, thanks to the calculations of the PRISMA network, two meteorite fragments were found in Cavezzo (MO) on January 4, 2020. The fragments of the meteorite will be exhibited together with the works produced by the students who participated in the “Art and Science across Italy” creativity championship.
