Simone Pollastri si è laureato in Science Geologiche presso l’Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia. Nello stesso ateneo ha conseguito il dottorato con una ricerca sulle fibre minerali mediante l’impiego di diverse tecniche basate anche sulla luce di sincrotrone. In seguito ha ottenuto una posizione post-doc nel progetto CEROP finanziato da CERIC-ERIC per la caratterizzazione di catalizzatori innovativi per le celle a combustibile.

Simone Pollastri got a master's degree cum laude in geological sciences at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. In the same academy, he took his PhD investigating mineral fibres employing several techniques, including synchrotron radiation-based techniques. Afterwards, he got a post-doc position in the frame of the CEROP project funded by CERIC-ERIC for the characterisation of cutting-edge catalysts for fuel cells.
