Rossella Aversa ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in Astrofisica presso la SISSA (Trieste) nel 2015 e un Master in High Performance Computing nel 2016. Ha lavorato come postdoc in tecniche di machine learning per le nanoscienze e nella gestione dei dati di ricerca presso il CNR-IOM (Trieste) dal 2016 al 2019. Attualmente lavora al KIT (Karlsruhe) ed è membro del Technical Advisory Board della RDA. Dirige l'accesso virtuale in NFFA-Europe e le attività di gestione dei metadati nel Joint Lab MDMC e nel NFDI-MatWerk.

Rossella Aversa got the Ph.D. in Astrophysics at SISSA (Trieste) in 2015 and a Master in High Performance Computing in 2016. She worked as a postdoc in machine learning techniques for nanoscience and in research data management at the CNR-IOM (Trieste) from 2016 to 2019. She currently works at KIT (Karlsruhe), and is member of the Technical Advisory Board of the RDA. She leads the Virtual Access in NFFA-Europe and the Metadata Management activities in the Joint Lab MDMC and in the NFDI-MatWerk.
