Ricercatore in astrofisica delle alte energie presso il Dipartimento di Fisica dell'Università di Trieste, dove si è trasferito a ottobre 2020 dopo aver conseguito il dottorato in Astrofisica presso l' Università di Erlangen – Norimberga nel 2019, ed aver lavorato dal 2018 al 2020 come ricercatore presso l'istituto di Radioastronomia (INAF) a Bologna.
Nella sua ricerca si occupa di studiare l'origine dei raggi gamma da diversi oggetti celesti come radio galassie, magnetars o peculiari fenomeni transienti come i Lampi Radio veloci.
E' membro di diverse collaborazioni internazionali, tra le quali il Fermi-Large Area Telescope ed il Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO), nelle quale svolge ruoli di coordinatore di gruppi scientifici.

Researcher in high energy astrophysics at the Physics Department of the University of Trieste, where he moved in October 2020 after earning his doctorate in Astrophysics at the University of Erlangen - Nuremberg in 2019, and having worked from 2018 to 2020 as a researcher fellow at the Institute of Radio Astronomy (INAF) in Bologna.
His research focus on the study of the origin of gamma rays from various celestial objects such as radio galaxies, magnetars or peculiar transient phenomena such as fast radio burst.
He is a member of several international collaborations, including the Fermi-Large Area Telescope and the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO), in which he plays the role of coordinator of scientific groups.
